You need to know that we work with ALL insurance companies. Many insurance companies will give you a list of their "preferred" shops, and that's okay. Some, however, will actually tell you that you MUST go to shop ABC or XYZ. This is a practice known as "steering" and it is illegal in many states, including Delaware. If your insurance representative tells you this, be sure to get their name so that you or the shop you DO choose can report them. You pay your insurance premiums and therefore, you have the right to choose your repair facility. Your decision shouldn't have to consider arrangements the insurance company has made with shop ABC or XYZ to benefit the insurance company and one of their "preferred" shops.
